LOCATION: Corridor at Shushan Palace High School
STORY: Everyone is excited about the upcoming Homecoming Dance. Vashti and Ashuerus are sure to be crowned King and Queen. Haman wants to ask Rita to the Dance, but she wants to go with Mordechai. Haman decides to just tag along with Ashuerus and Vashti. Vashti won’t go if Haman is tagging along. Ashuerus picks Esther to go with him. Haman decides to sabotage the dance by forbidding all the Jews to attend.
The dialogue is peppered throughout with lyrics from Beatles’ songs.
